Our Products
We are proud to offer our guests the following products which are produced right here on our farm.
Wine
Our vineyard covers about 4 hectares and exhibits the typical characteristics of the area.
Principally, we grow a DOCG renowned throughout the world: Sagrantino.
Sagrantino presents ruby-colored, dark and velvety, with robust alcohol and a heady bouquet reminiscent of blackberries. It is a great accompaniment to roasts, game and hard cheeses. The sweet version (called “passito” in Italian) of Sagrantino is an excellent sipping wine to be paired with the typical sweets of the area.
We also produce the popular Rosso di Montefalco which is made from Sangiovese grapes.
Oil
Our olive grove covers about 10 hectares where we grow olives which are typical of the area: moraiolo, leccino and frantoio. They are those which boast the recognition of excellence DOP Umbria Dei Colli Martani.
The freshly picked olives are minced in a cold mill with a continuous cycle. The resulting oil is low in acid content, with a color between green and yellow, an intense aroma and a pleasantly bitter and spicy flavor.
It is perfect for salad dressing and it also goes well with grilled meats and game.
