Sagrantino passito DOCG
A dessert wine of great importance and longevity. The colour is dark red, almost impenetrable, the scents are of preserve, red fruits and vanilla. To taste distinct and smooth with excellent body which harmonises perfectly with the typical sweetness of this wine. Serve with dry desserts, dark chocolate or cream cheese. Excellent for meditative use.

Production area: Bevagna.
Grape varietals: 100% Sagrantino.
Elevation of vineyard: 300 m a.s.l.
Harvest time: Mid September.
Withering process: Immediately after the harvest the grapes are chosen and spread on mats called ‘Camorcanne’ and left to wither for three months in a ventilated environment.
Vinification: Fermentation in steel barrels for approximately three weeks on skins.
Colour: Intense dark red.
Aroma: Scents of blackberry preserves, red fruits and vanilla.
Taste: Pleasantly sweet and smooth on the palate with a persistent finish.
Food pairings: Dry desserts, dark chocolate, blue cheese.
Best served temperature: 18°C.
Best served: Wine is to be decanted at least an hour before serving for best oxygenation.
