Le Case – Umbria Rosso IGT

Presenting an intense red colour with a dark red tone. An elegant bouquet spiced with undergrowth and red fruit aroma.

The taste presents itself as dry, fresh with a pleasant taste of tannicity, excellent combined with cold cuts and medium-matured cheeses, flavourful first main courses, and roasted white and red meat.

Technical details

Production area: Bevagna.

Grapes: Sangiovese 70%, Cabernet Sauvignon 15%, Sagrantino 15%.

Altitude: 300 m s.l.m.

Harvest period: end of September – October.

Maturation: Ferment with the skins for 15 days, then mature in steel barrel, after which it is refined in bottle for at least 6 months.

Color: Red with garnet reflection.

Smell: Vinous bouquet and pronounced hints of red berries, with a finish of cherry jam.

Taste: Intense and balanced with a pleasant softness, ripe and pleasant tannin.

Racommended with …: Hard cheeses, red meats and cured meats.
